NVQ Level 2 General Construction

There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification. However, learners must:

• Be working in a relevant construction role
• Have the opportunity to demonstrate their skills on-site

This NVQ is suitable for:

This NVQ is completed entirely in the workplace—no classroom exams.

Once enrolled, you will be assigned a dedicated assessor who will:

1. Conduct an Induction Visit – explaining the qualification structure and evidence requirements
2. Carry Out On-Site Observations – to assess your practical skills in real working conditions
3. Use Multiple Assessment Methods, including:
   • Professional discussions
   • Written or verbal knowledge questions
   • Witness testimonials from supervisors or managers

If your company is CITB-registered, you may be able to claim up to £600 per learner under the CITB Short Qualification Grant Scheme.
